Myanmar’s First Two Renewable Energy Projects Registered under the International Tracking Standard (I-REC Standard)

We are proud to announce that the first two renewable energy projects in Myanmar have been successfully registered on the Evident Registry under the International Tracking Standard (the I-REC Standard) — the very first of their kind in Myanmar.

Myanmar Approved for I-REC(E) Issuance

The I-TRACK Foundation Board officially approved Myanmar for I-REC for Electricity [I-REC(E)] issuance on December 10, 2024.

I-REC(E) Issuer in Myanmar

The onboarding of the local Issuer for Myanmar is currently being finalized. Registrants seeking to register or request issuance of I-REC(E) from generation devices should contact GCC (the Green Certificate Company) for updated information.
